Daniel Smithのスティック絵具を使い、スティックから直にウォーターブラシにとって描くやり方で描いています。パレット不使用なので、濃淡のコントロールは水のスクイーズ具合、筆先の絵具をどの程度のせるか、とるか、探りながらです。雪の降っている最中に描いていて、降る雪を描くべきか迷いましたが、あえて描き込まず、実際の雪にスケッチブック上に降ってもらって、終了としました。
A snow scape. Today’s attempt is to sketch using only one color. Therefore this has feel of sumi-e a bit.

The paper of this sketchbook is made in a paper mill in Capellades in Spain.
I happened to drew it in the page up side down… Maybe it will become a memory of the time how I lost motivation to sketch a while and sudden snow fall drove me into sketching then how I carelessly started….
